here I am about to sleep on my tent right beside the river, some ducks are making noise and since the camping is kind of close to the provincial route 2, I can also hear some cars going b
ack and forth.Well, I will resume this 4 days of trip so far:
Day one (Friday): left the island after having breakfast with Tomas in a TH (he gave me both canada and quebec flags, and I have to mention this, he told me...). Went through the west of the island, a really beautiful day, sunny, not a cloud. In my way, I stop in a cafe that had 5 flags, the argentine among them.
I take a picture and I met mr. Jaime, a argentinian of 76 which has lived in Montreal since he was 21. He invited me a expresso, we chat a bit and I continue. Then I basicaly get lost and I turn over the island.. I did some 20 km that I did not supose to. I think, "if i get lost here in mtl, I am done..". However, haven't gotten lost any more :), it was very tricky.
At evening of that day comes a great part of the trip.. I am surprised by 3 guys in a truck when I was about to camp in some woods in lancaster. They believing I was robbing, acted quite fast and I just explained them
that I was going to Niagara and I was there just camping...(If u r a thief, lemme tell ya, that is a great line for not being trusted at all). So, they scared me the shit out if me and then they brought me to this camping where they would drop me...and come back 20 minutes later telling me they felt really bad about what happened and asling me if I wanna go sleep at their couch.. before Jeremy, mitch and their friends and me were for some beers at the local bar:
Next morning we had a great breakfast and Jeremy drop me some km ahead and i thanked him for everything. 136 km and 6 beers that first day.

Day 2 (Saturday): Same weather, more windy and less action that the first day. However landscapes are bloody cool, can't believe I haven't done this before. I went through a immigrants parade, you could find any flag in the world. I took a pic for my beloved male friends of the Iranian representative. I got to sleep in a nice camping called Grenville near Brockville.. Boring, I slept well and had pasta before i went 2 bed. I did 103km
Day 3(Sunday): Started up well, but late. I met this couple of Ontarians from Kingston in the camping, Mark and her wife (dunt remember her name...) where I had slept and they invited me a cup of coffee. I finished up leaving at around 12.. not an example!.
So from Guananoque to Odessa you can find the less cyclist friendly route in Canada so far. Awful, big trucks, very narrow, unpaved sides..and a flatt tire of course. A guy took me to the next gas station and I patched it and hopefully find the problem in the inside of the wheel that was ruining all my tubes. I hit the route again.. at around 4:30.. And got to Deseronto at around 6PM where I slept yesterday night with a free duck concert the whole night. I forgot to tell you, I did some 60km and I had pasta. I still like pasta.
Day 4(Monday): just woke up and yes... Now it is raining. My weather software says it is sunny and it was gonna b like that until evening. I am waiting for a while and the I will keep going to Bellevile or Toronto.
So that's it so far!
I ll Keep u updated!
